Text Box: Thank you so much for all you have done to help not only our boys but many other families who have children with Autism. The HAND Foundation is like a light in the darkness.. This will be our last year on the east coast as we will be moving to California in March, which will mark 16 years since Rosa left her home in Fresno. Our lives would not be so rich if it were not for the wonderful people in our lives who have supported us so much. We are especially grateful for the help we have received through the HAND Foundation which could only happen because of supporters like you. This past year, the funds raised gave Derek and Javier the opportunity to experience Auditory Integration Therapy (AIT). The whole experience was incredible and the results were almost immediate. Both of the boys seemed to sprout in their growth of vocabulary. They continue to amaze us with their communication skills. We once dreamed of having a conversation with Derek when he was little. It seemed like an impossible dream but it has come true. Derek and Javier’s understanding of what we tell them has improved so much. There is still some frustration, but to us, the results have been little miracles. Please help support children with Autism. It is growing so rapidly that we are sure most of you probably know somebody who has been affected by the challenges of it. We love you all and thank you for your love and support of our children.
